ysmad Image: Snake, detail head
Description, tags: Snake, detail head -- This one is probably a Northern Watersnake, as the friendly staff at Spicer Lake Park in Indiana explained to us. There is another picture of this snake with much nicer background (in the water), but a fly sitting on the snake's eye was both spoiling its view and our picture - so this concrete-background-picture is the one that's here.
