Have a pond along with your pool
It's astonishing how many pools you see when flying over urban areas. Unfortunately, rather life-hostile oasises. Just as a thought: wouldn't it be a nice gesture to other living creatures, to create a pond along with each, so to speak as a sanctuary for some of the species we edge out through our settling and farming and deforesting - and chlorine-soaked troughs?
