Don't participate in frequent traveler "mileage runs"
I didn't think something like this even exists, but apparently there are reasons to fly simply for "status". Even if your company pays for it: the points or "status" value likely will be considered ridiculous small by future generations - compared to the value of the nature (which could have been preserved a bit more by not traveling unnecessarily)!
