Carry an empty bottle to the airport
Huh? Here is what I think: most of the flights I took required me to produce plastic waste for water bottles and in-flight drinks. I figured it's reasonable effort to carry my own bottle with me - empty to pass security, and fill it at one of the free fountains. This avoids buying an (anyways expensive) water bottle at a shop and having the in-flight mini allowance. Considering just the 87000+ flights daily in the US I think there is a lot of plastic-avoiding potential! (Visit thoughtsfrom30000ft.blogspot.com
